Do you want less waste and less plastic
in your kitchen?
Replace a plastic dish brush with a wooden dish brush. Replace synthetic sponges with a loofah sponge that is compostable. Crochet your own dishcloths with left over (cotton) yarn pieces. In this example some leftover Bobbiny Junior cord was used.
You can crochet dishcloths in many ways. In the video below you see how to insert single crochets in 3 different ways.
For the dishcloth you will need:
- some leftover yarns, preferably recycled cotton, or linen for a more sustainable approach. In this example Bobbiny Junior cords in the colors Sand, Coffee and Natural are used.
- a crochet hook of 8 or 10mm,
- and scissors.
The dishcloths are super easy and fast to make.
Follow this pattern to get a dishcloth of approximately 30 x 15 cm with Bobbiny Junior cord.
