Re:treat Chunky Wool is a super soft yarn produced from virgin Wool in England by the West Yorkshire Spinners. The yarn is made of a voluminous sliver with a slight twist, giving it a luxurious and silky texture. The chunky sliver structure is possible due to the long fiber length of the wool. The yarn has a natural sheen and slides off your needles easily. It is great for example for warm and soft sweaters, scarfs, and beanies. Re:treat Chunky Wool is a blend of Bluefaced Leicester wool and Kerry Hill wool and proudly carries the new British Wool logo, a guarantee that it is British.

Re:treat Chunky Wool yarn is spun at the West Yorkshire Spinners (WYS), one of the few remaining spinning mills in England. The combination of technology, years of experience and expertise in spinning ensures exceptional quality yarns. WYS works with local fibers to reduce the CO2 footprint of their products. More info about Was can be found here.
Wash Re:treat Chunky Wool at a maximum temperature of 30° Celsius to prevent shrinkage. If possible, select a mild washing program on your washing machine such as ‘delicate wash’ or even better the ‘wool wash program’. Of course do not bleach the beautiful colors. Do not use the tumble dryer. Dry the washed textiles flat, for example on a towel, as hang drying might deform your garment or product. Do not use the iron and don’t dry-clean (professional textile care) as it might destroy your yarns.
